Dorcas Anyango is an Associate at Mukiti Advocates LLP and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Nairobi, with a focus on corporate and financial law.
Dorcas advises clients on competition and antitrust law, consumer protection, corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, dispute resolution, and conveyancing. She has experience supporting complex transactions involving acquisitions, business and asset transfers, and strategic investments. Her work includes conducting legal due diligence, preparing and negotiating transaction documentation, and advising on related regulatory and corporate matters.
In dispute resolution, Dorcas supports clients in commercial and banking disputes, including debt recovery, enforcement of securities, garnishee proceedings, and other complex disputes. She has also undertaken specialised training in data protection and contributed to publications on dispute resolution, African integration, and property law.
