Professional Profile

Chieh-Ju (Jeru) Yang is our Business Development Manager. She supports the Firm’s business development initiatives, with a particular focus on client engagement and cross-border matters.

Fluent in both Mandarin and English, she brings valuable cross-cultural experience gained from working, studying and living in multiple jurisdictions across the Globe, including the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Kenya. This international exposure enables her to offer a truly global perspective in supporting the Firm’s client relationships and cross-border engagements.

She leads the Firm’s client outreach, coordination, and relationship development efforts, supporting both new market entrants and clients already operating in Kenya. Working closely with the Partners, she helps identify new business opportunities, deepen existing client relationships, and strengthen the Firm’s brand presence locally and across key regional markets.

Her responsibilities include developing and implementing business development strategies, managing proposals, overseeing client relationship programmes, coordinating industry-focused initiatives and events, and supporting thought leadership efforts. She also conducts market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making within the Firm.

She holds a master’s in international journalism from Cardiff University, UK.
